Damola Ajayi Signs Professional Contract with Tottenham Hotspur

Talented winger and Flying Eagles hopeful Damola Ajayi has signed a professional contract extension with Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.

The 19-year-old player, born in London to Nigerian parents, joined Tottenham in 2022 and impressed the club’s management. As part of the new deal, Ajayi will remain at Tottenham until 2028, giving him plenty of time to grow and develop.

Ajayi shared his excitement by sharing a black and white photo of himself signing the contract on social media with the caption “God’s work.”

Tottenham’s academy also celebrated the extension, saying: “We are delighted to confirm that Damola Ajayi has signed a new contract with the club, running until 2028. Congratulations Damola!”

Ajayi was called up for his first UEFA Europa League match under Ange Postecoglou during Tottenham’s 2–1 victory against Ferencváros, but remained on the bench throughout the match.

Ajayi has shown great potential in Tottenham’s youth teams, although Ajayi’s first-team appearances have been limited. He scored 19 goals in 42 appearances for the U-18s and added a further five goals for the U-21s, leaving fans excited about his future at the club.
