IND and OFF: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma faced the media at the MCG today while talking about the various problems the Indian team faced during the BGT campaign before moving on to the Boxing Day test.

While addressing the media, he made some serious allegations when the media questioned him about the form of Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli and himself.

Rohit Sharma clearly said when asked about Virat’s form and his dismissal outside off stumps: “Today’s greats like Virat Kohli will find their own way.”

Virat Kohli has become the world’s most inspirational sportsman as his classics have attracted many young talents to the game of cricket. 15 years ago, on this very day in 2009, he scored his first international hundred and the legend stands tall with 81 hundreds in his illustrious career, most of them after the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Undoubtedly, respected and admired by many cricketers from different nations, Virat Kohli is certainly one of the best not only today but also of all time to have played the sport.

Rohit Sharma clearly showed his faith and belief in the young opener Yashasvi JaiswalIn his first visit to the toughest tracks in world cricket, the young batsman showed what he can do in Perth. Even though Jaiswal missed runs in the last few overs, he is expected to come back stronger.

Rohit Sharma also explained the reason behind the immediate inclusion of Tanush Kotian in the team; He supports the fact that the youngster has played for Australia before and other options like Kuldeep and Axar are not available due to fitness or family issues.

Rohit Sharma said: “Tanush Kotian played here in Australia. I don’t think he has Kuldeep Visa and he is 100% ineligible. Axar has a baby recently. Tanush is ready, we really want a boost in case we need two players here or in Sydney. Tanush showed what he can do.”

Pant also backed Rishabh Pant’s intentions and Shubman Gill, who he claimed got a start in Adelaide but failed to convert it into big runs.
