Sen. Rand Paul pledges to get Trump’s cabinet picks approved

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., said Sunday he “couldn’t be happier.” President-elect Trump Cabinet candidates said they would work to implement them as soon as possible.

When Paul was asked on “Sunday Morning Futures” if he would support all of Trump’s elections. his immediate circle, “I couldn’t have chosen better,” the senator replied.

“I will support the majority on day one,” the senator said. “We’re going to try to get Kristi Noem to go through the Department of Homeland Security, Russ Vought (Office of Management and Budget). … I think you’ll get half a dozen of these approved within the first week.”

Paul said he would control a committee responsible for approving the nominees, adding: “I promise to complete them as quickly as possible.”
