‘No winner’ – Paul Pogba reacts to his brother’s sentence for extortion

Fench football star Paul Pogba explained his feelings after his brother: mathias Pogba was sentenced for attempting to blackmail him.

The case, which involved close family and childhood friends, was difficult for the French football player. Mathias Pogba was found guilty of extortion, detaining someone against his will and being part of a criminal group and was sentenced to three years in prison and two years suspended.

Five of Paul Pogba’s childhood friends were also involved; one was sentenced to eight years in prison for his role in the crime.

After the hearing ended, Paul Pogba shared his feelings to AFP. He said there was no sense of victory in the case involving his family and childhood friends. “There are no winners,” he explained. “It was a very painful situation.”

Although he acknowledged some relief that the ordeal was over, he said it was a chance for everyone to look forward. “I can now finally turn the page on this extremely painful period,” he added.

Paul Pogba, who currently does not have a club, is excited to return to football. Following the objection, his doping ban was reduced to 18 months and he will be able to train as of January 1. He will be able to return to competitive matches on March 1.

Pogba, whose contract with Juventus is now over, is eager to open a new page in his football career.
