‘He stood over this girl… you’re nothing but a bully, Virat’: Australian journalist slams Kohli, labels him a bully after Melbourne airport incident

Australian media has renewed its criticism of star cricketer Virat Kohli, with Channel Nine reporter Tony Jones accusing him of being a “bully”. “Nat was there with a cameraman, a Channel 7 reporter was there with his cameraman and they were essentially doing what we do on a daily basis and that’s whether it’s being politicians, being at the airport to get IDs, sports IDs or whatever,” he said. Jones.

“He was angry that the cameras were focused on him because he is Virat Kohli,” he added.

“Well! You are a batting superstar, a global superstar in the world of cricket, and he is angry that the attention is focused on him.

“What really stood out to me when I saw the footage was him turning to the three men, the two cameramen and the Channel 7 reporter and saying, ‘you guys are OK, oops,'” Jones said.

“Really? Big tough guy Virat.

“And then he stood over this girl named Nat Yoannidis, who was about six feet six feet tall, and he absolutely scolded her.

“You are nothing but a bully, Virat,” Jones said.
