Colin Jost & Michael Che ‘Joke Swap’ with Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson has admitted how much she dreads her husband Colin Jost with him Weekend update co-host Michael CheThe popular Joke Swap section, where everyone can read crude jokes written by others, is invisible.

Once again, Jost made a joke about Johansson – and this time, viewers can see her reaction from backstage. (Jonansson was one of several members Saturday Night LiveThe Five Timers Club appears in Cold Open to start tonight’s host Martin Short.)

Jost and Che traditionally humiliate each other in the segment but they took it to the next level this time with a slew of jokes very appropriate as Jost was forced to read his “in the voice of Black,” starting with the reparations of slavery dig.

The audience – and Jost – knew that Johansson’s joke was coming, and when the photo appeared, it was greeted with cheers and groans from the audience and “why?!” by Jost. Dedicating the line “to my boo, Scarlett Johannson,” she noted that she had just celebrated her 40th birthday, “which means I’m getting out of there!”

“We just had a kid, and you haven’t seen a picture of him yet – because he’s black as hell!”

Johansson’s seen shaking her head in disbelief backstage. That turned into a shock when the third joke was made at her expense by Jost – and it did a lot R-rated.

Referring to Costco’s recent decision to remove roast beef sandwiches from its menu, Jost said he’s “been eating roast beef every night since my wife had kids,” adding, “Nah, nah, I’m just playing baby, you know. I don’t go to town… It’s so gay!” Ouch!

Che didn’t get through the unscathed joke swap either.

He attributed the box-office success of Moana 2 the fact that “like me and my friend Jeffrey Epstein used to say, there’s nothing like an island adventure with a teenage girl,” before adding “I’m just kidding, I’ll never sleep with a dark woman like Moana. .”

When a photo of Jay-Z is shown later in the segment, Che goes full “no man, no, no, no.” He went on to address the rape allegations against Jay-Z and Diddy, telling the latter that “we’re Bad Boys for life” and that “I’ll say the same thing I always said at your party: I’ll help win you out.”

Jonahsson talked about the Joke Swap, which Jost and Che usually do in the Christmas and end-of-season episodes. SNI, in a July interview.

“We had to go into like, witness protection after that night,” he joked. “Like, I was so scared we were going to be like, targeted. It was so bad. I blacked out for a period of the night. I don’t – I actually don’t remember.
