Michael Moore Addresses Luigi Mangione’s Manifesto

After the arrest of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson‘s suspected killer Luigi Mangione, Michael Moore has written an open letter in response to Mangione’s manifesto, which he reportedly said.

The Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker clarified, “yes, I judge murder“as he noted the flood of media requests for his response to Mangione’s manifesto, which referred to Moore’s expertise on the health care crisis for the benefit of the state.

“After killing the CEO of United HealthCare, this largest multi-billion dollar insurance company, there was an immediate OUTPOURING of anger to health insurance industry. Some people have come forward to condemn this outrage,” Moore wrote in the mail. “I’m not one of them.

“The anger is 1000% right. It’s taken a long time for the media to cover it. It’s not new. It’s boiling over. And I’m not going to shut it up or ask people to shut up. I want to pour gasoline on that anger.

He continued in part, “Because this outrage is not about killing CEOs. If everyone who is angry is ready to kill CEOs, the CEOs are already dead. It’s not about this reaction. It’s about mass death and suffering – physical pain, mental abuse, medical debt, bankruptcy in faced with denied claims and baseless deductibles on top of the ballooning premiums – that the ‘healthcare’ industry has been charging for decades. With nothing standing in the way! government – two corrupt parties – enable this INDUSTRY of theft and, yes, murder.

Still, Moore didn’t defend Mangione’s actions, calling the killings “RICH ON RICH. crime“The suspect comes from a wealthy family that owns several businesses, including Maryland’s Lorien Health Services assisted living facility.

“But don’t get me wrong. No one should die,” Moore added. “Actually, that’s what I mean. No one should die – No one should die because they don’t ‘have’ health insurance. Not one person should die because their ‘health insurance’ denied them health care to save money or Thirty Two Billion.

The letter also included a free streaming link to his 2007 document illExplore the country’s health care crisis and why millions of Americans are being left uninsured.

Just five days after Thompson was shot dead on the street in the morning in New York City, Magnione DETAINED as a “strong person of interest” in gun charges Monday in Pennsylvania.
