ISL 2024-25: Sachu Siby and Prateek Kumar Singh leave Chennaiyin FC

Ahead of next season in the Indian Super League (ISL 2024-25), Chennaiyin FC Indian duo announces separation Sachu Siby And Prateek Kumar Singh. Left-back Sachu moved away from Marina Machans permanently, while goalkeeper Singh transferred to Dempo SC on a season-long loan.

Sachu joined Chennaiyin FC from Kerala United last season and immediately bagged a place in the Durand Cup, bagging an assist. He also saw some action in the ISL in Aakash Sangwan’s absence. However, with Sangwan returning from injury, Sachu spent most of the season on the bench. The 23-year-old player played 12 matches in the 2023-24 season, two of which were in the RF Development League.

Sachu made three appearances 2024 Durand Cup group stage as Chennaiyin FC failed to progress beyond the group stage.

Singh, who will spend the 2024-25 season on loan at Dempo SC, joined Chennaiyin FC last season but did not play in any matches.
