Arsenal Held to 0-0 Draw by Everton, Fail to Close Gap on Liverpool

Arsenal were unable to close the gap on Liverpool after drawing with Everton at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal defeated Monaco 3-0 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, but could not maintain the same strong performance in this match.

Arsenal made three changes to the team that beat Monaco, with Gabriel returning from injury. Everton have made just one change after their match against Liverpool last week was cancelled.

Arsenal had most of the ball and control in the first half but failed to score before half-time. They continued to attack in the second half but still couldn’t find a way past Everton’s strong defence. Despite all their efforts, Arsenal had to settle for a 0-0 draw.
